It is with great excitement that Ridley Bikes presents its 2011 roster of triathlon and duathlon teams.
The US based Zoot Ultra Triathlon team is composed of ten professional and twenty-five top -level amateur athletes. This program has become one of the most highly visible triathlon programs in North America and consistently enters fifteen or more team members to Kona for Ironman World Championships.
The Belgian based Uplace Triathlon Team features the evergreen and longstanding Ridley athlete Rutger Beke as well as six fellow BeNeLux athletes that will compete in all forms of multi-sport from duathlon to full distance Ironman.
In duatlon, Ridley Bikes teams up with Joerie Vansteelant. Vansteelant is a multiple world champion in this discipline and winner of 10 powerman Duathlons.

Main goals are the European Championship Powerman in Horst (Netherlands) and World Championship Powerman in Zofingen (Switzerland).
Also Peter Croes, Olympic distance athlete, represents Ridley Bikes. Peter’s goal is to qualify for the 2012 London Olympics and a top spot on the ITU world championship series. This series features the top of the Olympic distance athletes.

Italian based Pepperoncino Team celebrates its tenth season of existence with a technical partner change to Ridley. This illustrious program features eighteen top-level professional athletes training and competing alongside nearly fifty amateur team members.
All of these athletes will compete aboard the Dean and Dean RS models for long distance Ironman and 70.3 events and the Noah and Noah RS for shorter Olympic or sprint distance events. The RS models feature a more comfortable tri specific geometry and position. All of these carbon frames feature full aerodynamic technology that was designed and engineered utilizing countless hours of wind tunnel testing. The Dean and Dean RS feature optimal triathlon geometry that ensures ideal positioning and superior handling characteristics. The Noah and Noah RS road frames feature stiff ProTour geometry but with the addition of special saddle clamping that allows for 73-76 degree angles for aero positioning. Ridley’s adjustable seat angle system (a.s.a.) allows a rider to adjust his or her saddle placement to achieve the perfect riding position. This system consists of various integrated saddle clamps and aero seat-posts with variable offsets.

All four models feature the patented R-Flow Jet Foil designed forks that steer “dirty” air around and away from the wheels creating a vacuum and thus reducing drag by up to seven and a half percent. These frames also feature Ridley’s exclusive R-Surface paint treatment on the frame’s leading edges. This R-Surface creates a wind boundary surface on the frame that forces the airflow to adhere to the frame and exhaust in a more streamlined manner. Through wind tunnel testing, this patented system reduces frontal drag on the frame by up to four percent.
Look for these athletes and their Ridley bikes to grace the podium around the world.
